Whitney is the Director of Study Abroad. In this role, Whitney manages all aspects of study abroad programming at Texas Tech University. Whitney joined TTU Study Abroad in August, 2016, as the Faculty-Led Program Administrator. As an undergraduate student, Whitney studied abroad in London, England, and Hangzhou, China, and in Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago during her graduate work. Whitney's personal study abroad experiences ignited a passion for travel and she has ventured to nearly 40 countries for professional and personal travel. Whitney has experience working for both third-party study abroad providers and higher education institutions. Prior to joining Texas Tech, Whitney served as an Education Abroad Adviser at Penn State University. Whitney has also worked for study abroad providers Central College Abroad and the Institute for Shipboard Education/Semester at Sea.
